Motala Electrical Lock MHEL001 Left Hand is a landing door locking device designed for Motala platform lifts with left-handed landing doors. It electrically locks the landing door whenever the lift platform is away from the landing and releases only when the platform has safely arrived and is correctly positioned. The electrical lock forms part of the lift safety interlock system by preventing access to the lift shaft when the platform is not present and by providing a safety interlock signal to the lift controller.
