Liftup IR Safety TX board FlexStep is an infrared safety transmitter PCB used within the Liftup FlexStep platform lift system. It forms part of the lift’s safety control architecture, managing the infrared beam system that monitors the space between steps and platform area to detect obstructions during operation. The board emits and controls infrared signals and works with receiver sensors to create a safety light barrier between steps and platform. It helps inhibit movement if the beam is broken or unsafe conditions are detected, supporting anti-crush protection within the FlexStep safety system. It integrates with the main controller to support safe operation in both stair and wheelchair lift modes for Liftup IR Safety TX board FlexStep.
