GL6 FC 4G Safeline Unit 4G is a GSM gateway for platform lifts and passenger lifts requiring emergency telephone communication over mobile networks. The unit supports 2G, 3G, and 4G VoLTE connectivity where analogue PSTN phone lines are unavailable or being withdrawn. It allows up to nine lift telephones to connect through a single gateway and supports intercom communication between connected lift stations. Integrated battery backup maintains emergency communication during mains power loss, supporting operational uptime and system reliability during servicing schedules and inspection intervals. The GL6 FC 4G Safeline Unit 4G can send SMS alerts for faults, power failure, and battery issues to assist maintenance efficiency and downtime reduction. Suitable installation locations include lift shafts, machine rooms, and lift car roofs.
